• In 2020, my co-authored paper “A Robust Consensus Algorithm for Current Sharing and Voltage Regulation in DC Microgrids” received the 2020 IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology Outstanding Paper Award. “This award recognizes the paper's originality, relevance of the application, clarity of exposition, and demonstrated impact on control systems technology”.

• In 2020, I received a Paper Prize Award from the IFAC Journal Automatica, for the best paper published in the triennium 2017-2019. This paper deals with model reduction of networked passive systems, which is joint work with Prof. Jacquelien M.A. Scherpen and Dr. Bart Besselink (see my publication list).

• In 2019, I received the Best Engineering Thesis Award, issued by Groningen Engineering Business Center [Photo].

• In 2018, I obtained my PhD degree, which was given the distinction cum laude (<5%), University of Groningen.

• In 2018, I received support from the EUCA Student Travel Support Program to attend the European Control Conference 2018 (ECC2018).

• In 2017, I obtained travel funding from the COST Action EU-MORNET to attend the EPSRC Durham Symposium on “Model Order Reduction” [Photo].

• 2014: Outstanding Postgraduate Award of Northwestern Polytechnical University.

• 2012 and 2013: I received the National Scholarship twice, from the Chinese Ministry of Education.

• 2012 and 2013: our NPU robot team held the world champion for two years of the Middle League SimuroSot, in the 17th and 18th FIRA RoboWorld Cup, at Bristol (the UK) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), respectively.

• 2013: our NPU robot team won the Champions of the competitions: Wheeled Robot Soccer 11vs11 and SimuroSot 5vs5 in the 17th RoboCup China Open at Hefei, China.

• 2012 and 2013: our NPU robot team won the National Champion of Middle League SimuroSot in the 14th and 15th National Robot Championship at Harbin and Guiyang.

• 2012: I received the Huawei Scholarship.

• 2012: The 2nd Prize in the 9th “HUAWEI CUP” National Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.

• 2010: Outstanding Bachelor Thesis Award of Northwestern Polytechnical University.

• 2010: The 1st Prize (Shaanxi province) in the 20th National Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
